該種新型概念燃料電池采用的氫化酶催化劑,它是一種從自然界中獲取的氫氧化生物催化劑,製備中僅僅利用生物有機體中的元素,沒有任何貴金屬成分。複合的氫化酶由鎳、鐵等含量豐富的元素構成,氫化酶的最高催化效率和金屬鉑相當。因此,氫化酶是貴金屬的潛在替代物。
